CENAL opened the process of receiving projects for the 2024 Literary Creation Encouragement Grants

With the purpose of stimulating and encouraging literary production, the National Book Center (Cenal) opened the process of receiving projects from Venezuelan or foreign writers residing in the country who wish to apply for the 2024 Literary Creation Encouragement Grants.
According to information from CENAL, the process, which will close on August 15, will award five scholarships for each genre to be evaluated: Narrative; Essays on books and reading; Biography, testimonies and chronicles; and Literature for children and young people.
They also indicated that the works will be
received digitally through the email [email protected], and they must
also be original and unpublished, written in Spanish or in one of the country's
native languages.
It should be noted that the
scholarships last six months and the amount to be received is two thousand bolivars.
