Chancellor Gil: Few have done as much for humanity as the Russian people in defeating Nazism

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, during the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory of the Soviet Union, highlighted the sacrifice of the Russian people in their fight against the imposition of Nazi thought in Europe.

“When a people are united and feel a deep patriotism, they rise up to defend their nation,” emphasized the head of Venezuelan international politics from the Waraira Repano, where diplomatic representatives from several countries accredited to Venezuela attended.

He stressed that few countries have done as much for humanity as the Russian people who lost 20 million human beings to the Nazism that tried to impose on humanity, only one way.

“Few peoples in the world can say that they have made such a great sacrifice for humanity as did the great Soviet people in defeating the terror of Nazism,” said the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs.
