The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, met this Friday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados, Kerrie Symmonds, in the framework of the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations.

" target="_blank">“Both of us have reaffirmed the strong friendship between our countries and we have addressed the opportunity to expand cooperation in different areas,” said the foreign minister on his Telegram channel.

In addition, he reported that he also held a dialogue with his counterpart from Suriname, Albert Ramdin, to reinforce the unit and analyze opportunities for cooperation.

This week, the diplomat met with representatives of Eurasian countries, Asia, Africa and Latin America, in the context of the 79th edition of the UN General Assembly.
