Chancellor Gil reports kidnapping of 33 children in the US: John McNamara is the material author of this crime

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, denounced this Tuesday that the Government of the United States (USA) is keeping 33 Venezuelan children kidnapped in that country, and accused the US chargé d'affaires in Colombia, John McNamar, as the material perpetrator of the crime.

“The United States government is keeping 33 Venezuelan boys and girls kidnapped in its territory, separated from their families in open violation of international law, human rights and even its own laws,” the Foreign Minister criticized through his Telegram channel.

He stressed that this is “a criminal, inhuman and outlaw practice, unfit for a State, which seeks to establish itself as a defender of liberties while trampling on the most basic rights of children”.

Gil said that John McNamara, the US chargé d'affaires in Colombia, “is the material perpetrator of this crime, directly responsible for maintaining this illegal and profoundly immoral situation.”

In this regard, in the name of the Bolivarian People and Government, he demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all. They must now be reunited with their families. Freedom for kidnapped boys and girls!” , he said.
