Chancellor Gil: Thought helps us to protect our actions in the Bolivarian Revolution

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, during his speech at the International Forum for Human Humanity, highlighted the leadership of the Liberator Simón Bolívar in calling on an entire people to leave their borders and liberate other countries and not with the desire to conquer, but with the desire to build the new, to destroy the colonial apparatus and its desire for freedom.

In this regard, he assured that Bolivarian thought “is not only still in force but ahead of our times (...) And it serves us to protect our struggle, doctrine, our actions in the Bolivarian Revolution. Today, more than ever, that thought is more alive and what we Bolivarians call for, a peace with social, true and human justice, in order to move forward in peace.”

Gil pointed out that “Bolívar was able to change humanity and twist the perverse course of domination, of imperialism and defeat the most powerful empire of the time, summoning the people and all their feelings. He was able to understand, express and convince an entire generation practically.”

He also said that this Forum will make it possible to discuss in Bolivarian thought, “the greatness of Bolivar, is that practically his thought, made him eternal, guide, stimulus. Our victory will always be peace and well-being, there is no empire that can twist the will of the peoples”.
