On the 190th anniversary of the installation of the Panamanian Amphictyonic Congress, the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil stressed that efforts to consolidate the Great Homeland that the Liberator of Bolivar dreamed of are still in force.
“Today marks the 198th anniversary of the Panamanian Amphictyonic Congress, convened by Simon Bolivar in order to achieve regional unity. For this reason, we celebrate the Day of Latin American and Caribbean Unity, remembering Bolívar's dream and renewing our commitment to continue working for that vision,” Gil wrote in his account on the social network X.
With regard to this date, it is worth remembering the document sent by Commander Chávez to the first CELAC summit in 2013, in which he emphasized that everything we do for unity will not only be justified by history, but will also become the brightest legacy we can leave to new generations.
