Boys and girls from the preschool stage of the Samuel Robinson Early Childhood Education Center visited the interactive spaces of the Teaching Center for Science Teaching (CDEC), Anzoátegui nucleus, through the National Scientific Semilleros Program promoted by the Ministry of Science and Technology (Mincyt).
During the training activity, the students experienced at each of the stations a pedagogical experience aimed at introducing scientific thinking through exploration, observation and interaction with the environment.
According to a press release, the boys and girls participated in stations designed to bring them closer to different scientific phenomena in a simple and meaningful way. In the space dedicated to astronomy, together with the facilitators, they experimented with the recognition of light, the types of lenses and the use of the telescope.
In addition, at the fun chemistry station, they carried out experiments with milk, soap and dye, evidencing physical properties through surface tension.
The CDEC facilitators illustrated to the attendees about the introduction to educational robotics, with the sample of different robot prototypes.
During the interactive reading experience, it was demonstrated that this tool can stimulate children's understanding and imagination. They also recognized the different non-metallic minerals that exist in the country's oil region.
Finally, at the basic anatomy station, the children observed how the human body is formed, including bones, muscles and organs, learning good habits to take care of their bodies.
Each activity allowed us to connect play with learning, strengthening the natural curiosity typical of this stage and promoting the discovery of science as part of everyday life.
