Children's Reading Festival started in Táchira

With the purpose of encouraging reading among boys and girls, the Luis Leonardo Ruiz Pineda Public Library is holding the Children's Reading Festival 2024 in the state of Táchira, where children with visual disabilities also participate.
The festival will be held in the 29 municipalities of the Andean entity, and currently around 60 students from different public and private schools in the region participate.
In this regard, the director of the Library, Rosa Rangel, said that the objectives of the activity are: “to promote the habit of reading, to stimulate love for books, to expand knowledge of general culture and moral and national values, in addition to becoming even more involved with Venezuelan children's literature.”
In addition, the participants showed their pleasure and emotion for this activity, they expressed that they like the library and the festival, since it teaches them new things, in addition to being fun
