China and Venezuela celebrated 50 years of friendship with cultural activities

With a cultural show held at the facilities of the Teresa Carreño Theater, China and Venezuela celebrated 50 years of friendship, highlighting their commitment to educational, technological and commercial exchanges, as seen in the 58 stands exhibited in the facilities of the cultural complex

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, during the event, the minister counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Venezuela, Yuan Wei Zhang, expressed satisfaction that both nations have managed to strengthen their ties over half a century, through culture, education and strengthening economic relations with considerable and constantly growing potential, allowing both nations to provide their inhabitants with improvements in their quality of life.

“We are sure that we will continue another half century with work and commitment and we can see this at this fair, as there has been a great and important integration between the two colonies. We are sister nations committed to development with strategies for a better future,” he said.

For his part, the president of the Federation of Chinese Associations of Venezuela, Zheng Wei He Chan, reported that the exhibition represents all the sectors that make life in Venezuela and of the more than 50 stands, 20 are of Chinese production.

In the same way, he stressed that “there has been significant growth in the last two years between China and Venezuela, we are going through one of the most splendid moments, the growth has been very significant, reaching alliances in different productions such as soft drinks, pre-cooked flour and toilet paper, to name a few, not to mention that we estimate that there are currently more than 100 factories owned by Chinese entrepreneurs in Venezuela”.

The event began with the dragon dance, followed by the tour of the authorities of the Chinese centers that are in the country, who appreciated the exhibition of the brands: Usine La China, Kaly, Glup Cola, Sun Cola, Golden Ocean, Venusia vehicles, Miranda Tourism Corporation, Carabobo, Venetur, Miranda Government, and others.
