This Friday, environmental deployment was activated in the Tinaco municipality, in Cojedes, to plant protective trees and recover degraded natural areas.
With the purpose of protecting local water basins, the Chuquisaca National Reforestation Plan 2026 in the vicinity of the Tinaco River, regional authorities and environmental brigades began mass planting in the Platera III sector, belonging to the El Último Hombre a Caballo Commune, an action that would consolidate the national goal of 10 million trees for life, directly restoring ecosystems that have undergone environmental degradation in the area.
The activity recalls the historic conservation decree issued by the Liberator Simón Bolívar in 1825, which ordered the massive planting of forest species, where the presence of Yulimar Barrios, state director of the Territorial Ecosocialism Unit (UTEC), was highlighted, together with Elvis Durán Lobo, Commander of the Integral Defense Operational Zone (ZODI) 34 Cojedes, who highlighted the importance of preserving the entity's freshwater sources and the proper management of forests through coordinated work.
In this comprehensive deployment, student movements, forest fire departments, park rangers and the spokespersons of the region's communal structures actively joined, a joint effort of civil and military institutions that ratifies the commitment to sustainable development and the recovery of natural resources in the Cojedeña geography.
