Chuquisaca National Reforestation Plan advances in Yaracuy with the planting of more than 280 trees

With the objective of restoring soils and protecting hydrographic basins in Yaracuy, the Multidisciplinary Team of the Ministry of Popular Power for Water, together with the Popular Power, was deployed in the Macupido sector, located in the Cocorote municipality, to move forward with the Chuquisaca National Reforestation Plan, achieving the planting of 285 trees.

‎Este program implemented by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, seeks to mitigate the effects of climate change and promote an environmental culture based on the direct participation of communities.

‎La day resulted in the planting of samán, moringa, mahogany, expensive carob and carob trees, in addition to specimens of naked indium and ceiba, it is estimated that with this reforestation an area of approximately 2 hectares would be recovered.
