Chuquisaca Plan 2026 reaches 100,000 trees planted across the country

The Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Freddy Ñáñez, stressed that 100,000 trees have been planted nationwide within the framework of the Chuquisaca Plan 2026.
“Today, on Araguaney Day, we salute the extraordinary national day of planting 100,000 trees throughout the Venezuelan territory: 50,000 Araguaneyes and 50,000 specimens of other native species that will contribute to strengthening our forests, protecting hydrographic basins and restoring ecosystems,” wrote Minister Ñáñez. on Telegram.
He thanked the community of Mataseca, in the foothills of the Henri Pittier National Park where he attended, to establish the first trees of the Chuquisaca Plan as part of, a large national mobilization aimed at the ecological restoration of the territories.
“Each established tree represents a concrete contribution to water protection, soil recovery, carbon capture, biodiversity conservation and the construction of a more balanced future for future generations,” said the minister.
He invited all volunteers to join this national task. “In a special way, we invite content creators, photographers, documentalists and communicators to help us narrate this beautiful collective epic. Because restoring our ecosystems also means building a new awareness of the value of life and the forests that sustain us.”
