The Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) and the Pontifical Catholic University Santa Rosa (UCSAR) signed an inter-institutional and academic cooperation agreement, which will allow the staff of the Scientific Police institution and their immediate families to access the academic offer of the prestigious university.

The agreement was signed between the rector of UCSAR, Carlos Boully, and the general director of the CICPC, commissioner general Douglas Rico, an agreement that was endorsed by the National Council of Universities (CNU), Rico reported on his social networks.

It highlights that one of the main objectives of this agreement is the need to accredit the knowledge and experience of the CICPC staff, depending on their professionalization and development.

“This agreement opens the door to beneficiaries to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate careers, as well as various courses and diplomas offered by the university to CICPC officials and family members,” said Rico.

After the ceremony, the authorities of both institutions expressed their satisfaction with this agreement, which represents a significant step towards strengthening higher education in Venezuela and the comprehensive development of officials responsible for security and justice.
