CICPC arrested three individuals for theft of strategic material from PDVSA in Anzoátegui

Members of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC), stationed in the state of Anzoátegui, were able to arrest three people for the crime of theft and sale of strategic material from PDVSA GAS.

According to information issued by the director of this police force, the detainees were identified as “Davis Jesús Díaz Villarroel, nicknamed Davicito; Roger Jesús Matute Mejías, alias El Loco, and José Elías Vásquez Ortega, who were dedicated to the removal of valves and equipment from oil installations, for restoration and commercialization to third parties, in order to obtain an economic benefit”.

As evidence, several valves were recovered. The subjects were handed over to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
