CICPC held a 3D crime exhibition in Caracas

In the REDVITAL auditorium, located in La Yaguara, the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) held its first 3D forensic technology exhibition, led by the head of the institution, Douglas Rico, as part of the International Day of Forensic Medicine.

During his speech, Rico addressed the representatives and members of the , stressing the value of institutional commitment: “We are on a good path; those who do not know our virtues must know them and take advantage of them, because there are many things to build.”

He also emphasized that investigative work is not limited to the police, but also includes technical forensic analysis, whose integration has made the CICPC an international reference.

The event included presentations on methods applied in accident investigations, the effects of chemical compounds and their interactions, as well as digital tools in the forensic field, cybersecurity and virtual simulation in event scenarios.

As published by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, the objective of the event was to integrate innovative resources that optimize criminal justice approaches, facilitating the work of specialists in the reconstruction of facts.
