The Directorate of Investigations of Vehicle Theft and Theft of Vehicles of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) organized a shooting and combat retraining day, which was given by qualified instructors from the Special Actions Brigade (BAE) and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB).

This day was held with the purpose of optimizing the operational skills of officials to provide a timely response in high-risk situations.

The retraining was led by the Director of Vehicle Theft and Theft Investigations at the CICPC, Felicia Quezada and her deputy, Ramón Duque, who actively participated together with the managers of all the attached Divisions and Coordinations.

Quezada highlighted the importance of these days: “Our work requires a high level of physical and mental preparation. Retraining not only improves our skills with the weapon of regulation, but it also prepares us to make quick and accurate decisions, minimizing risks for our officials and for citizens”, CICPC press reports.

For his part, Duque emphasized that the articulated work between the CICPC and the PNB is vital to strengthen the operational capacities of State security bodies.

The activity took place in an environment of rigorous discipline, where officials practiced advanced shooting, movement and reaction techniques to simulated scenarios.
