Cinemateca extends its hand to creators for the screening of their films

Through its account on the social network Instagram, the National Cinemateca Foundation extended the invitation to creators of the seventh art to encourage themselves to screen their films in its theaters.

“Have you ever dreamed of releasing your film on the big screen? At the National Cinemateca Foundation you can do it! (...) Here we give you all the steps you must follow to request the screening of your film in our theaters,” said the Cinemateca.

In this regard, he indicated that audiovisual producers or creatives may send their request to the following address: [email protected]. At the same time, he specified that the audiovisual production must be finished and in the digital format, pendrive and DVD, this will allow the Programming Department or researchers to confirm the quality, theme and duration of the film.

In addition, he noted that to ensure that the audiovisual material is sent correctly, creatives must include the following elements: The video file in MP4 or MOV (1080p), a synopsis and trailer of the film or short film, an artistic and technical sheet, a poster or poster promotional for the audiovisual production, the curriculum and a photograph of the director, as well as the curriculum synthesis and photograph of the producer.
