The National Autonomous Cinematography Center (CNAC) announced the extension for the reception of projects participating in the 2024 Call of its Program for the Encouragement and Promotion of Cinematographic Production until July 5.
Through the social network Instagram, the president of the CNAC, Carlos Azpúrua, mentioned the scope of this decision, which establishes an extension for the delivery period of projects, which runs until Friday, July 5.
“We are aware of the difficulties that some filmmakers must face in presenting their project and since the presidency we have taken the decision to grant a week's extension to complete this process,” he said.
He also recalled the conditions that must be met for the success of the Call, among which he highlights: There will be no new extension, only projects that have full safeguards can participate and people who are in default with the CNAC must abstain.
The call covers the entire national territory and establishes July 5 as the new deadline for receiving projects.
It is important to note that since the reactivation of this program, 151 projects have received financial support from the CNAC.
