With the session Producing in Venezuela: Either you run or you climb! by the president of the National Cinemateca, Vladimir Sosa Sarabia, the masterclasses of the program “Learning by doing” of the National Autonomous Cinematography Center of Venezuela (CNAC) ended, which provides attendees with a complete overview of the challenges of Venezuelan cinema.

During her master class, Sosa Sarabia addressed the functions of the production department, the producer's profile, the stages of a production and professional ethics. The session was enriched with the screening of trailers and anecdotes that allowed attendees to understand up close the challenges and rewards of making films in the country.

Since August 19, those attending this training cycle had the opportunity to learn from experts in various areas of film production. The day began with the Screenplay Workshop “From Text to Gesture”, taught by Carlos Tabares, followed by the Executive Production Workshop with Álvaro Cáceres himself.

The classes continued with the Art Direction Workshop, taught by Gabriela Montilla; the Casting and Acting Workshop, with Jericó Montilla and Irabé Seijas; and the Photography Workshop, by Juan Viva.

With this activity, the National Cinematheque reaffirms its commitment to remain the home of cinema and a vital space for the training of future generations of filmmakers.
