The vice-president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, assured that the three fundamental objectives of the 2024 Electoral Simulation have been met.
“We have fulfilled three fundamental objectives of the simulation, the first of which is participation, the verification ballot act and the timing,” said Quintero.
He also said that the Venezuelans who participated were able to stand in front of the machine, express their will and interact with the voting experience.
“At this time we have an overwhelming turnout, which gives us an incentive for what the participation of July 28 is going to be,” he said.
In that regard, he congratulated the people of Venezuela for the strengthening of democracy, and all the staff of the CNE because they have worked hard for this activity to be carried out successfully.
“We tested the times and we can say that we have a satisfactory voting average, for each voter it takes between 30 and 42 seconds to exercise their right,” he said.
In addition, he explained that all the security mechanisms that protect voters' votes were tested.
Quintero announced that on July 4, the final production of the voting machines will begin and the deployment of the machines to the 24 entities of the national territory will begin.
In this regard, he indicated that by June 6, the deployment of electoral cotillion will begin to have in the states all the electoral matter.
