CNE: Participation stood at 44%, representing 6,273,531 voters

At 11:28 this Sunday night, the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, reported that with a transmission corresponding to 82.45% of the polling stations, the registered voter turnout in the country is more than 44% of active voters, projected at 100% of the broadcast, representing 6 million 273 thousand 531 voters.

In that regard, he pointed out that of the 335 positions to be elected mayors and mayors, “at this time, 304 positions are being awarded with an irreversible tendency that represents 90.74% of the total and of the 2,400 two positions to be elected as councilors and councilors, 2,182 positions are being awarded at this time, with an irreversible tendency that represents 90.84%.”

In his words, giving an assessment of the day, he specified that “we had 1490 overseers in the country and you were exceptional witnesses and witnessed how a people with a high democratic vocation and a lover of peace came out to choose their municipal authorities”

He added that it was a day to guarantee peace through the exercise of the right to vote and that is why the rectors of the National Electoral Council appreciate the citizenship of those who came to the voting centers to comply with their constitutional rights and duties, exercising their right to vote. We want to thank the members of the table, as well as the witnesses, coordinators of voting centers, members of Operation Republic, our Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) who are still in custody and protection of all the electoral material, we thank and extend it to all the public authorities of the Venezuelan state.”

He added that “the success of the 2025 municipal elections and the first national popular youth consultation is due to you.”
