This Monday, the National Electoral Council (CNE) proclaimed the 800 judges of the peace elected along the different communal circuits installed in the 12 municipalities of the state of Barinas.

During the event held at the Mariscal Sucre Sports City located in the capital municipality of Barinas, Carlos Antonio Briceño, justice of the peace of the La Carolina communal circuit, assured that the intention is to strengthen communal power, strengthen unity, the well-being of the people and the resolution of problems.

“I participated in the La Carolina communal circuit. We had a democratic party where the participation was 873 people, we achieved 87% of the participation goal. In the 11 communities that make up this communal circuit, people answered the call,” he said.

Also, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), Alisson Abreu, justice of the peace of the Soldiers of Chávez communal circuit, explained that the election day was successful thanks to the electoral commission and the inhabitants of the communities.

In addition, María Hernández, justice of the peace of the number 1 circuit of the Alto Barinas parish, assured that the activity demonstrates participatory democracy and the high awareness of the population in Venezuela.

“All the justices of the peace now have a titanic task, since we will be in our communities administering justice to these less serious causes... the idea is to have mediation, conciliation and arbitration as a fundamental premise,” he said.
