Commander of the REDI Los Andes announced the activation of 34 strategic objectives for the defense of the Homeland

The commander of the Los Andes Strategic Integral Defense Region (REDI), José Gregorio Martinez Campos, announced the activation of 34 strategic objectives, to plan the movement, protection and defense of all spaces.

From the state of Táchira, during a contact with President Nicolás Maduro, as part of the Deployment of Plan Independence 200: Permanent Active and Defensive Resistance, Martínez Campos, stressed that the Andean people have accepted the call for the enlistment of the Bolivarian Militia and have spoken out in defense of strategic objectives and in the Los Andes region.

“We are protecting the four international bridges, the main trunks, and even the reservoirs that generate electricity, electrical substations, communication antennas, hospitals, industrial areas and food production areas,” Martínez Campos explained.

He also assured that they will continue planning, verifying all the strength, but also visualizing any point of vulnerability that may exist.

“We are fine-tuning all the details in the face of any aggression that could affect the tranquility, peace and security of our country,” he added.

Martínez Campos emphasized that every Andean Region is ready, ready and willing to put into practice all the teaching it has obtained. “In the face of permanent aggression, we have prepared for unarmed struggle, but we are also prepared for armed struggle and to show the world that Venezuela is respected,” he added.
