Communal justices of the peace participate in Public Consultation on Amnesty Law in Caracas

This Sunday, communal judges and justices of the peace from Caracas participate in the National Public Consultation of the Amnesty Bill for Democratic Coexistence.

From San Bernardino, the president of the Special Commission of the National Assembly (AN) for the Promotion of National Public Consultation on the Amnesty for Democratic Coexistence Bill, Deputy Jorge Arreaza, reiterated that this legal instrument has among its objectives to create conditions for the harmonious development of the country and to settle differences internally.

For his part, the first vice-president of the Parliament, deputy Pedro Infante, pointed out that each public consultation has a scenario and logic, stressing that the Amnesty Law, approved in the first discussion, is a political legal instrument that seeks coexistence and peace, but without impunity.

He stressed that this is a new process of dialogue for the future and for the preservation of the Republic, which must incorporate all sectors, according to a press release from the AN.
