Compañía Nacional de Danza will present its show “And the Stars Shone” this weekend

This weekend, the National
Dance Company (CND) will return to the spaces of the José Félix Ribas room of the
Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas to present the show And the
Stars Shone by Maestro Miguel Issa, who directs the group's traditional and contemporary casts
.
The performances will start this
Friday 6th, at 5:00 in the afternoon, Saturday 7th and Sunday, December 8th, at
3:00 in the afternoon.
This montage presents a Christmas recreation
that simulates a common street in Venezuela where friends and family organize the party and the celebration of the Child Jesus, together with traditions such as the Giros of San
Benito, Zaragoza in the state of Lara, Gaita de Tambora, Chimbangles, the Merengue
Caraqueño, Shepherds of El Limón, Drums de Falcón, Negritas de Mucuchies, the Song of the
Paradura del Niño, among others.
The theatrical performances of
Adolfo Nitoli and Angelica Rinaldi stand out, as well as the musical direction of the arranger
and composer Oscar Lista and a staff of traditional and popular music figures
such as Lilian Frías, Elena Gil, Arianna Pérez, Ismael Querales, Daniel Gil, Angélica Avilán, and other outstanding musicians.
