“The Vietnamese Revolution is a beacon of light for the Free Peoples of America,” said National Assembly (AN) member of the National Assembly (AN) Tania Díaz during the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, held on Bolivar Avenue in Caracas.
In the presence of diplomatic representatives and social movements, Díaz highlighted the deep historical and political ties between Venezuela and Vietnam, noting that “for the parties and movements of this region of the world, the Vietnamese revolution is like our big sister: from it we have learned, celebrated victories and honored their dignity.”
The parliamentarian expressed the pride of the Venezuelan people to accompany this emblematic date.
During his speech, Díaz paid tribute to the revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh, whom he described as “a key figure in the leadership ranks of that country, whose intense life left an indestructible path to freedom and prosperity.”
“From this Bolivarian Caracas, we remember its ability to teach, to mark the path to independence and to bequeath a force that today maintains Vietnam as a free, socialist and prosperous Republic, with its own identity and its head held high,” he said.
