Construction of the Mapire-Rio Grande road route in Sucre state progresses

The construction of the Mapire-Rio Grande road and hydraulic variant registered significant advances in the state of Sucre; the road project seeks to transform land mobility and promote socio-productive activities in eastern Venezuela.

In this regard, the technical teams achieved the strategic connection of the Mapire and Rio Grande work fronts. This unification of the layout optimizes the movement of the machinery and speeds up the execution of the remaining phases.

In addition, crews carry out continuous work of cutting, banning, deforestation and forming embankments in the intervened areas. The works include stabilizing slopes and smoothing slopes to leave the road in suitable and safe conditions.

Therefore, the tasks include the processing of legal permits through the Environment Plan and attention to neighboring properties. The development of the new road route will provide greater safety for drivers and will facilitate access to agricultural areas in the region.
