With the intention of providing a direct, expedited service and avoiding paperwork, next Monday, October 7, they will inaugurate the Apostille appointment service office at the Venezuelan Consulate in Aruba.
The inauguration will be led by the Venezuelan consul, Amabel Lugo, who stressed that the provision of this service seeks to provide direct attention to compatriots to avoid what the agency is, in addition to improving response times in procedures.
In this regard, he explained that appointments from this office will be “more expeditious”, while stressing that another advantage is to avoid “the issuance of any judiciary for a third person to apostolize in Venezuela.”
He stressed that the opening of this office is thanks to the efforts of the Government of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, who continues to promote Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy and provide quality services to compatriots abroad, despite the criminal unilateral coercive measures imposed by Western imperialism.
The Consul added that users must first request their appointment through the website of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs.
Regarding the requirements for apostilles, Lugo noted that an identity card or passport must be presented, even if it has expired. However, he urged compatriots to keep their identity documents in force.
The diplomat said that apostilles for children's and adolescents' documents are exempt from payment.
The Apostille appointment service office will operate at the Venezuelan Consulate on this island in the Netherlands, located at Tanki Flip #6 Oranjestad, from 8:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon.
