CONVIASA activated 19 national and international destinations from Maiquetía International Airport

The state airline CONVIASA activated a total of 19 domestic and international destinations from Simón Bolívar Airport in Maiquetía, with the objective of ensuring the continuity of business operations and expanding connectivity options for travelers.
The airline maintains flights to destinations such as: Porlamar, Barcelona, Cumaná, Maracaibo, Maturín, Puerto Ayacucho, San Antonio, Santo Domingo, Puerto Ordaz, Valera, La Fría, El Vigía, Canaima, Barquisimeto, Las Piedras, Barinas and Los Roques, among other routes that connect different parts of the Venezuelan territory, VTV reports.
In the same way, CONVIASA reaffirms its presence in the international market through direct connections with Mexico, Havana and Saint Lucia, strengthening air connectivity between Venezuela and other destinations.
To meet the flow of passengers, Maiquetía International Airport and its temporary terminals have an operational capacity of 760 international passengers and 500 domestic passengers, allowing passengers to remain attentive and mobilized during business operations.
Recently, the Minister of People's Power for Transportation announced that Maiquetía is operating at 45% of its capacity after the provision of temporary terminals, while airport spaces are expected to recover in 2027.
