CORPOELEC crews recovered transmission line on the Páramo Axis in Mérida

Crews from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) recovered a transmission line on the Páramo axis in the town of Santo Domingo, in Mérida, after damage suffered by a falling tree.

The electrical failure occurred as a result of a break in the opening between towers 144 and 145 in the Bernabé sector, adjacent to the town of Santo Domingo, Cardenal Quintero municipality, on the border between the states of Mérida and Barinas, reported by Prensa CORPOELEC.

The Territorial Manager of the State Electricity Company in the state of Merida, Marielys Sacipa, explained that due to this unexpected situation, the electricity supply was affected, so specialized personnel went immediately to solve the fault.

He also thanked the Transmission Management, the Páramo Service Center, Energized Lines and Vegetation Programming and Control for their support, for carrying out the maneuvers in record time.
