The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) installed 28 transformers in the José Félix Ribas, Pedro Zaraza, Juan Germán Roscio, El Socorro, Leonardo Infante and Chaguaramas municipalities in the state of Guárico, to directly benefit more than 8,000 families.
According to a press release from CORPOELEC, this action is part of the Electric Infrastructure Strengthening Plan, promoted by the Ministry for Electric Energy, whose objective is to raise the quality of service and ensure greater energy stability in strategic areas of the country.
In this regard, Carmen Rivas, a resident of the Leonardo Infante municipality, expressed her gratitude for the rapid intervention of CORPOELEC and its efforts to optimize electricity service.
“Since the installation of the new transformer, the quality of service has improved. We are grateful because we feel that they listen to us and take us into account,” he said.
The execution of this project involved the active participation of organized Popular Power and municipal authorities, demonstrating once again that the energy of the people translates into concrete results.
