Corpoelec Mérida Energized Line Supervisors Course Successfully Completed

After five uninterrupted weeks of theoretical and field practice, the course for supervisors of energized distribution lines at Corpoelec Mérida was successfully completed, where eight participants were trained to work on energized high, medium and low voltage lines, with the objective of carrying out any maneuver without interrupting the electrical service.

In this regard, the Secretary of Public Services, Marielys Sacipa, thanked the Minister of Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, Governor Jehyson Guzmán, as well as the Training Management and the human talent of Corpoelec, for making this academic year so important for the training, growth and replacement of the linemen of this Electric Corporation a reality.

Sacipa congratulated the workers who participated in this training course, and applauded the initiative to want to train, while recognizing the courage they have to work with a profession where, every day, the life of every lineman is put at risk.

The eight participants thanked President Nicolás Maduro for approving the necessary resources and materials and realizing this dream, which for many is a unique experience that will allow them to provide new techniques for the optimization of the National Electric System (SEN).
