CORPOELEC strengthens energy transmission in Caracas and Valles del Tuy

In a deployment aimed at strengthening operating conditions, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out preventive work at the Guaicaipura 230 kV and Santa Lucía 115 kV substations, located in the municipalities of Cristóbal Rojas and Paz Castillo, with the objective of increasing the reliability of transmission systems in the state of Miranda.

The specialized care of the technical staff consisted, according to a press release, of the maintenance of protection control systems, electrical components, exhaustive revision of switches and mobilization of structures, key parts to optimize the safe flow of energy.

These efforts directly benefit residents of the Valles del Tuy and Gran Caracas axes, consolidating the continuous improvement of the National Electric System (SEN).
