CORPOZULIA restored the O'Leary Bridge in Maracaibo

The Corporation for the Development of the Zulian Region (CORPOZULIA) restored the O'Leary Bridge, in Maracaibo, Zulia state, whose structure is 117 years old, and is the gateway to the popular Santa Lucía sector.
The president of CORPOZULIA, Néstor Reverol, through his account on the social network Instagram, stressed that it is a matter of preserving the great cultural-patrimonial-historical value of the O'Leary Bridge, which was rehabilitated by the 1×10 Solutions Brigades of Good Government, in the center of the city, of avenues six, Colón, Siete, Vargas and Carabobo Street.
He explained that the works included the installation of 80 tons of asphalt, metal structure roads and installation of LED luminaires in the colors of the national tricolor; renovations that benefit more than 500 families in the sector.
Reverol pointed out that the intervention was also carried out in 88 houses and the restoration of 84 facades of residences and businesses (walls, windows and doors); in addition, they installed 1,560 LED bulbs on poles and lanterns, painted seven new murals and recovered five tourist spaces: Plaza La Tradición, the Casa de Cultura Udón Pérez, the Mampara Theater House, the Casa de Cultura El Sol and the Casa de El Brillante Theater.
