Correa to Noboa: How mediocre and a liar this poor man is! (+foreign military bases)

The former Ecuadorian president, Rafael Correa, described the current president, Daniel Noboa, as “mediocre” and “liar”, due to his announcement of a partial reform project to the Constitution to allow the installation of foreign military bases in the South American nation.

“How mediocre and a liar this poor man is! It demonstrates their total incapacity and lack of morals. Is this also part of the Phoenix Plan? Why didn't you ask in the popular consultation?” , Correa said on the social network X.

Noboa's proposal is to substantially modify Article 5 of the Ecuadorian Magna Carta, which prohibits the establishment of foreign military bases and installations for military purposes.
