Cleaning crews from the Ocumare mayor's office on the Gold Coast are carrying out a day of solid waste collection in the town of Cuyagua, one of the main tourist destinations in that territory of Aragua.

This is an activity whose main objective is to guarantee cleaner beaches, commercial and residential areas that are more organized and prepared for the family reunion of locals and tourists. The actions seek to provide embellished and decent public spaces for the healthy recreation of Aragüeans and visitors during the high season.

According to a press release, solid waste collection trucks were activated to carry out the work, as well as personnel dedicated to deep cleaning, maintenance and environmental sanitation, hand in hand with the People's Power.

The crews focused on the massive collection of solid waste and the adaptation of the coastal strip, thus ensuring a cleaner, safer and visually pleasing area for all tourists to enjoy.
