CPNB arrested a couple for their alleged involvement in child sexual abuse (+ Caracas)

Members of the Bolivarian National Police Force (CPNB) captured a man and a woman this Wednesday for allegedly being involved in crimes of sexual abuse against a minor.

This was reported on the web portal of the State channel, Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), where it was detailed that the procedure was carried out after receiving a citizen complaint warning about the blatant presence of the subject with the girl in the vicinity of Itagua Park, located in the Montalbán II urbanization of the parish of La Vega, in the Libertador municipality.

In this regard, it became known that after the initial arrest of the suspect at the scene of the incident, preliminary investigations conducted by police commissions resulted in the immediate arrest of the victim's mother, for having incurred “the alleged complicity and responsibility of the act by offering her own daughter in exchange for financial compensation through bank transfers”.

Both subjects were ordered by the Public Prosecutor's Office with competence in matters of the Protection of Children and Adolescents.
