As part of the launch of the National Reading Plan, the workshop “Once Upon a Vacation: Creative Expression (Literature and Visual Arts)” began at the Mario Briceño Iragorry Central Public Library.
This space seeks to create an encounter between reading and creation, using practical exercises to facilitate the development of participants' creativity.
During the workshop, each attendee will have the opportunity to explore topics such as home and memories, which will serve as a guide for writing literary texts. The activity integrates other artistic areas, such as plastic art, music and photography, resources that stimulate creativity and promote sensitivity to the artistic fact in everyday life.
The facilitator, Edward Maldonado, indicated that the purpose of the initiative is for participants to experience reading and writing through artistic experience as a means of communication, expression and enjoyment, to promote processes that contribute to social and human development.
