Creole BMX delegation competes in World Cups

Creole delegation will see action on two dates between July 28 and August 3

The Venezuelan rider Jholman Sivira heads a team made up of eight riders who are in Copenhagen, Denmark, to compete in the BMX Racing World Championships that will take place on two dates from Monday, July 28 to August 3, next.

Sivira has experience in the universal scene. “I have been preparing for two months in Copenhagen, I participated in two events on the world circuit, in the World Cup in France where I reached the round of 16 and in the Netherlands, I did it to feel more confident and now I am focused on competing in the best way during the weekend in the World Championship,” explained Sivira, the only Venezuelan to win the Race of Champions in Florida, United States, quoted in a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Sports.

The Venezuelan will compete in the men's elite section, the initial rounds will be on August 2, this same day there will be repechage and round of 16 heats. The competitions will resume the following day with the quarterfinals, semifinals and the final rounds for the category.
