Cuba condemns confiscation of President Maduro's plane by the United States

The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, condemned the confiscation of the plane of the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, by the United States this Monday in the Dominican Republic.

“Once again, Venezuela is at the center of aggression and blackmail. We denounce the dispossession of resources that belong to the Venezuelan State and demand the total lifting of unilateral coercive measures against Venezuelan brothers,” Díaz-Canel said through the social network X.

In this regard, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez described this US interference as “illegal and fraudulent.”

“This act of piracy is a violation of international law by the US Government, which uses impunity to commit these actions under the justification of arbitrary unilateral coercive measures,” he said.
