Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez condemns Israeli attack on civilian building in Damascus

The Cuban Foreign Minister , Bruno Rodriguez, spoke out on the social network X to refute the Israeli attack on a civilian building in Damascus.

“We strongly condemn the Israeli attack on the residential neighborhood of Damascus where several missions and diplomatic residences are located, including that of Cuba. We denounce this dangerous action that disrespects Syria's sovereignty and puts accredited diplomatic headquarters in that country at risk,” he wrote.

As will be recalled this Saturday, January 20, Israel carried out air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a residential building in the Mezzeh neighborhood of the capital, Damascus, and the air defense forces responded to the missiles of the aggression and shot down some of them. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard held Israel responsible, stating that it caused the death of five of its troops and several Syrian soldiers.
