As part of the efforts of the Venezuelan State to diversify the national economy and strengthen the country's different productive sectors, a strategic meeting was held to unite efforts to draw up a national route that merges tourism with Venezuela's valuable cultural heritage.
The meeting was led by the Minister of Culture, Raúl Cazal, and the Minister of Tourism, Daniella Cabello, and the Deputy Minister for the Promotion of the Cultural Economy, Rosario Soto, was also present. During the meeting, both ministers highlighted the quality of Venezuelan museum infrastructure and historic spaces, which reflect the country's identity and traditions.
The proposal seeks to showcase and enhance the country's network of theaters, monuments and historic centers, whose main attraction is their heritage value.
In addition, this integration will facilitate the promotion of tourist routes that include festivities recognized by Unesco as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, combining these events with the main natural attractions of each region.
