Day of comprehensive care benefited almost 300 grandparents from Carabobo

More than 290 older adults in the state of Carabobo benefited from a day of comprehensive medical care offered by the Great Mission of Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Homeland (GMAAP).

This was reported by the Ministry of Health through a press release detailing that the above-mentioned activity was carried out at the High Technology Center (CAT), in La Isabelica, Rafael Urdaneta parish in the municipality of Valencia, and involved the participation of the National Public Health System (SPNS) of Carabobo such as Insalud, Misión Barrio Adentro and the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS).

In this regard, Yesenia Gutiérrez, regional coordinator of the Great Barrio Adentro Mission in the entity, explained that during that day, care was offered in areas such as general medicine, optometry, cardiology, gynecology, geriatrics, vaccination and laboratory services.
