Delcy Rodríguez and Mia Mottley oversee Barbadian mobile hospital installed after double earthquake

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, visited this Monday a Barbados mobile hospital in Guaneras, Miranda state, accompanied by Prime Minister Mia Mottley, who is on an official visit to the country.

The type 2 field hospital in Barbados was installed at the beginning of July on the grounds of the Rubén González Industrial Technical School, to support Venezuela in the most difficult hours after the two powerful earthquakes that left more than 6 thousand people dead.

Barbados extended its helping hand and solidarity to Venezuela, also sending more than 10 tons of humanitarian aid to strengthen the health response with medical equipment, hospital supplies and specialized tools designed to support the care of those affected by the earthquake emergency.

The type 2 field hospital sent by Barbados, on 500 m2, houses 40 field clinical beds, a triage, diagnosis and treatment area, as well as four health rooms and one of them with access for people with disabilities.
