Delcy Rodríguez: Basic companies become the industrial heart of Venezuela

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Wednesday the importance of Basic Enterprises for boosting economic engines of national growth.

During the inspection of the Cabillas Rolling Plant of the National Steel Complex, led by President Nicolás Maduro, Rodríguez stated that Basic Enterprises become the industrial heart of Venezuela and hence the relevance of workers, of the organization of workers, of the productive councils of workers and of how to give productive impetus in a management model that separates itself from the model capitalist and truly build a socialist model hand in hand with the workers”.

He stressed that the Cabillas Silver “is an extraordinary expression of how the blockade has failed with Venezuela, of how despite the blockade, workers set out together with a management team of President Nicolás Maduro to recover production.”

The senior official explained that the Cabillas that are being produced “go to the Housing Mission, to the 'Together Everything Is Possible' Program, to the private construction sector and that gives a boost to the national economy and that is what has allowed Venezuela to follow the paths of economic growth starting in the second half of 2021.”
