The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, celebrated this Wednesday the signing of energy agreements with a delegation from the Government of the United States (USA), led by the Secretary of Energy, Christopher Wright.

“We are signing for the lives of Venezuelans. But it's also very important, I hope that these agreements will be of mutual benefit. I have spoken of the benefits for Venezuela, but I hope that for its countries, for Italy, for the United States, for Europe, for the world, the energy formula that is being expressed in these agreements also means contributing to international energy balance,” said the president in charge from the Miraflores Palace.

In this regard, he thanked the companies that have come to invest in Venezuela and highlighted their confidence that the great agreement signed on August 28 between Venezuela and the United States for the production of 65 billion barrels of oil, “will also translate into benefits for the people of the United States.”

In this regard, he thanked the government of US President Donald Trump for the effort “to carry out the objective, which is to have win-win agreements, of mutual benefit, that the countries that are represented here win and that the People of Venezuela win.”

“I have my faith, as President in Charge, in the future of Venezuela. What we are doing today is the future and the hope of the people of Venezuela. And I do so with absolute conviction and I increasingly demand the channel and the diplomatic political dialogue with the United States of America and with the countries of the world. It is the mechanism for relating and for cooperation and well-being for countries,” he added.
