In 2024, Venezuela managed to control hyperinflation to reach an annualized price change of 23.5% as of last October, said the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
During the presentation to the National Assembly (AN) of the National Budget for 2025, Rodríguez compared the data obtained during the same period in 2023, when annualized inflation closed at 189.8%.
“You can tell me if Venezuela has advanced or not; whether or not the Venezuelan people have advanced in their resistance to build a great homeland, a great future, to advance in hope, in love, in happiness,” he stressed.
On the other hand, the Minister of Petroleum also indicated that, according to economic projections, by 2025 Venezuela will grow more than countries such as Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay.
“These are the projections of ECLAC (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean) for the year 2025. Once again, Venezuela will be among the fastest growing countries in the region,” he emphasized.
