Delcy Rodríguez inaugurates 23 socio-productive spaces and announces date for the second national popular consultation

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led the inauguration of 23 socio-productive spaces and social care areas in the Los Símboli sector, in Caracas. This deployment is part of the policies to strengthen the communal economy and social welfare in the capital city.
During the meeting with popular power, the national president highlighted the impact of these works, pointing out the “development of this engine for the national economy, so I congratulate you all”.
Rodríguez made an important announcement regarding citizen participation: “I also want to announce here is the minister of the communes, Ángel Prado, I want to announce that the second popular consultation will take place on July 12, so let's all get ready.”
Deepening the methodology of electoral day of the bases, he explained that “for this national consultation, any area, any project of the seven transformations will be open”. In addition, the president in charge expanded the scope of this call by stating: “I also want to announce that condominium fines, which number 120 thousand in the country, will be participating in this popular consultation. Neighborhood housing associations, which number 15,000 of the entire Venezuelan people, will be participating with a common effort, in addition to communal projects and community projects.”
In view of the immediate organizational steps, Rodríguez urged the mobilization of communities: “We are now going to an assembly to choose to apply for the projects and it is good that in this lesson we decide what the project is for our community, so I am really pleased to be here.”
The president in charge recalled the success of the previous edition as a guarantee of this new process, concluding that “the first consultation already had its fruit in execution in funding and now we are going to this second national consultation”.
