Delcy Rodríguez: Jorge Rodríguez's fight against extremism is still going on

The fight against extremism and fascism that denies life and love between human beings, maintained by the revolutionary martyr Jorge Rodríguez, is more current today than ever, said the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

During an event commemorating the 49th anniversary of the planting of Jorge Rodríguez Sr., the vice-president highlighted the human character of this fighter who faced the repressive policies of the Fourth Republic.

“When we see Jorge's struggle, his commitment for the freedom of Venezuela, for the construction of socialism, for inclusion and equality, it's the same fight that we are fighting today,” he said while highlighting how Rodríguez also raised his voice in favor of Peoples, such as Palestine.

In the same way, he stressed the importance of, under the teaching of Jorge Rodríguez, maintaining the unity of the revolutionary forces in order to definitively defeat fascism and extremism.
