Delcy Rodríguez: President Maduro's economic strategy is the right path

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, exalted this Thursday the Law on Special Economic Zones (SEZ) as an important part of the economic policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro for the development of the country and the welfare of the people.

During his participation in the 25th edition of the World Forum on Special Economic Zones (SEZ) and the Transition to New Economic Models, Rodríguez stressed that the evolution of the People's Republic of China in this area “demonstrates that it is a right path, that the economic strategy that President Nicolás Maduro has outlined, enacting the Law on Special Economic Zones, is the right path. ”.

He also highlighted the new institutionality, with the creation of the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP), “to attract investments precisely that allow the development of special economic zones (...) To give a boost to the non-oil export engine, then, the Foreign Trade Agency was also created and with it the promoter that what was done in Venezuela is the best, the Venezuela Country Brand, is a a strategy that is linked, that has a very concrete meaning of developing a country in an environment of an illegitimate blockade, of a criminal blockade”.
